We're HOME!
Well... we had a fun time and of course had a surpise ending. I was going to leave Marcella at GDB for training if she went into heat while there ( I wasn't worried since she wasn't supposed to go in until the end of the month)... well guess who decided to go in half-way home... yup- Marcella. So, now Marcella is off to the puppysitters house for the last 2 weeks I have her- I was crying in the car last night-- Why do we do this again?
I have lots of pictures and fun stuff to post-- as soon as I get it all uploaded- I think I will load it all to dropshots and post the link since i have like 5 billion pictures (or more like 150) Guess I'd better get started on that...

Fun Facts about names day!
Marcella decided to join the game-- although a little late...
Marcella is pronounced Mar- SELL-Uh, just in case you were wondering, it's a pretty difficult name to pronounce. ;) It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "dedicated to Mars". Mars is the Roman god of fertility, for whom the spring calendar month March was named, came to be identified with the Greek god Ares, god of war. Saint Marcella (fourth century) was a cultivated woman of ability who was killed during the sack of Rome.
There's a guy at church that is convinced her name is "Marsala Chicken"... I'm pretty sure it's not but whatever...
Some of her nicknames are: Marce, Marcie, Marsha, Marcia (pronounced Mar-See- Uh), Marcie-Moo-Cow, Moose, My girl (I've got SUNSHINE! on a cloudy day- when It's cold outsiiiide I've on the month of May! I guess you'd say, What can make me feel this way? My Girl, My Girl, My girl- talkin' 'bout Myyy girl-- my girl.. Oooooo), Wild thing (you make my heart sing...), Little Wild One (from the "That thing you Do" Soundtrack- best EVER!) spazzy, princess, beautiful girl, and perfect girl. (Okay I am a little obsessed with songs... All of my puppies had songs)
Marcella and I are leaving tomorrow for California... I'm not sure if I will will have Internet-- if not-- I will "see" y'all when I get back-- with lots of pictures! I'd better see someone at graduation *ahem!*... I'll eat some Ghirardeli for you!

How to take a picture of a puppy...er-- or a 20 month old... in the snow
Last week we got 10 inches of snow on our deck. Marcella LOVES snow!
I finally got some pictures of Marcella that aren't *too terrible*... As you can tell by the pictures she was fairly mad at me for making her sit still that long and would NOT look at the camer for anything. Enjoy!

I think this picture makes her look very puppy-ish/ This is her on a down stay- obviously NOT
very happy with me
Even happier-- She obviously had her ego crushed while doing obedience... she wouldn't look at me for anything- and she normally stares at me...waiting for that "okay" to release her.
This is the 2 seconds between burying herself in the snow and getting up to look at the dog that was walking past.
(Don't worry she is tied to the tree so she is *not* loose)
The one time she looked straight at the camera... WHEW!
